Watching the live stream. Saw a couple of shots of John Kearney. Go JOHN****************************************
As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.
When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.
Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.
Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.
Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.
Thanks for your patience and support!
That must be Graffunder before the JB weld/rock engine fix hahaI wish I could have been down there for this, started a new job this week and didn't want to work 4 days and take 2 off... I hate being responsible...
I have a few friends down there and they are ahead of some very impressive riders!
Jason is in 5th! I helped him a bunch with bike prep last week, I hope none of the rotor bolts or rear sprocket bolts fall out. He will be pissed at me. Oh or the stator bolts, I put a trailtech stator in for him. Those bolts are so tiny and they are installed with red loctite. Jason did our friend Odus' bike and he broke off all 4 bolts. Trailtech did Don's bike and they broke off all but one. Jason calls me and says he needs my help, he only had 2 extra bolts so we had to save at least two. I attacked the stator cover with a map gas torch and managed to get them all out without breaking them.

Later,
That was a one in a million shot, by a tall pointy rock!
Rory did well (17th) with Jason (18th) right there. Impressive.
You and your son got some good air time and they were even talking about you guys!Well I am home and all is good Had a great time did my best but houred out and could not finish. There was nothing the little 165 could not make it was just so tuff and the fact I went to slow. Did the first 40 no problem and finished in time to gas up and head over to start the second loop Made all the hill on loop up to just past check 3 and had to call it a day. I will be back, Jimmy Lewis said he wants to make it even harder. Maybe have a 3 pro loop only
I have footage from my sat qualifier and all of loop 1 but only a few miles of loop 2 before ran out of room and the battery said we have had enough. Stay tuned Thanks John
PS This event just keep getting better
Jimmy Lewis has ridden the Dakar, numerous enduro events and teaches off road riding at his school.Does this Jimmy Lewis fellow ride this event?? AjaxAuto does and well, my report is that the fast sections were very fast if that's it then Jarvis is at a disadvantage. There aren't a lot of 80 mile an hr. spots to be had in the British Isle'.. Jordan Brandt had a tough day, to bad he is a gamer as is the Man John Kearney........................
