• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

2014 Husqvarna Journal

Lol YEAH!! First I never get the RideMore journal thing and now I'm sure I won't get this. Shows how I rank. I'm off to pout now!
Don't feel bad.... I haven't gotten anything from Husky in a long time (My '09 WR125, was my last new Husky) and I thought I might rank up there... Husaberg and all!:busted:

I only have two Huskys, and somehow I have managed to keep getting the journal....even though it is now filled with little white and yellow KTMs.

I haven't got one. Maybe because I'd never own a KTM (nor have I ever). LOL.

OK, I'd consider a next gen Husky if it's different enough from a KTM (ie: handles like a Husky and 36" or less seat height).

I am with you Brian ...a lot of heretics hocking heritage ! No mention of the multiple titles and wins during the Italian era...oh well...kinda feels a little wierd like " look at all this great history we just bought " now buy some new bikes and join the club ,the legacy....feels kinda slimy pitching a heritage you had no part of........ugh..I will be riding the wr300 till it's a clapped out p.o.s ...and some day yeah some day I will probably breakdown and buy a new bike maybe even Husky because hey .....they are all dirt bikes and that's what we love ...fake marketing be damned ...I buy what fits ...I just thought it was awkward to see all the red and white team photos and no red and white era bikes. Ouch ...even the Simon Pavel caption he says 9 Dakar rallies and his favorite bike is the te449 ... Well ok a tricked out built 449 Dakar photo would be a great photo op !?!

I bought a husky b/c it was the best (I felt) street legal at the time. I am disapointed they have not continued it. In NJ I think the TE was a big driver of the brand. And yes, I recieved my journal.
