  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

2014 Husky TE310R Value?

Angus

Husqvarna
AA Class
I’ve had a person inquire about purchasing my Husky and have no idea of their current market value. I’m not looking to get “Top Dollar”, I just want to shoot guy a fair price.

The bike’s in excellent condition - embarrassed to say it only has 313 miles - and has the following upgrades: Flexx handlebars with HWD anti-vib threaded inserts, Cycra Pro-Bend hand guards for Flexx bars, Pro Circuit T5 exhaust, ARC Levers, DID X-Ring chain, Shorai battery, Cyclops 35W LED headlight, Rizoma front turn signals, HDB billet rear turn signals, TM Designworks Slide-N-Glide Kit, 7602 Racing disc, engine and radiator guards (and a couple other bits), Wrap 9 pegs, CV4 silicone hoses & Evans Waterless Coolant, Doubletake Enduro mirror, Scott oil filter, Hyde Racing skid plate (not shown), Touratech recovery strap (front), Cycra fork guards & front fender (Yamaha Supermoto if memory serves), and a Seat Concepts low seat with gripper top.

All OEM parts removed were retained, bagged & tagged, likewise in excellent condition.

Lastly, I have 4 rear sprockets (ranging from 40-52, I think), spare front and rear fenders (unopened), extra Twin-Air filter, the air box block-off thingy for washing, and two TXC front number plates. Bike has always been trouble free and properly stored in a business warehouse when not in use.

Thanks for reading and for any thoughts you may have on a fair asking price.

(ps: I was only allowed to post 4 pics but will post others later if permitted)

wow that thing is mint!!
Totally agree, super mint and clean!!

https://www.smartcycleguide.com/motorcycles-for-sale/2014-husqvarna-te-310-r

several listed. Due to Wuhan/Covid supplies of used are low, as well as some new models.
Here in Italy prices for 2013 310R (here very few 2014 were sold) are much lower than those I read in the link...here a 2013 with a few hours goes from 3600 to 4200 $ for the most equipped and well kept
For your 310 and from the prices I have read you can shoot higher than the highest price you find

Thanks glangston, that's very helpful.

I was aware the used car market had blown up but didn't know it had spilled over to used bikes also.

Since I could only post 4 pics last night, here's a few more.

wow that thing is mint!!

Thanks robertaccio!

Though it doesn't add any to the resale value, I'm pretty sure this is probably the only TE310R to every do a lap around COTA.

Obviously not the best tool for the job but very fun nonetheless.

A few more pics...

EPILOG: Just wanted to thank everybody again for your input and provide a final update...

Unfortunately the gentleman interested in bike is wanting to stay within a lower budget and has decided to look at used WRs.

I've therefore decided to list bike on CycleTrader for $6,250.00 which I believe's a fair price given the upgrades, spare parts included and the bike's overall condition.

Since I'd like to see it find a good home, and in return for all the help I received on this forum when setting it up originally, if anyone here's interested be sure to mention the "Cafe Husky" discount for $350 off. : )

Thanks again!

Wow, a beautiful machine with nice mods and low miles. I wish you good luck on your sale. Unfortunately from what I have seen these Husky bikes tend to bring a lower price than other similar bikes of the era.

New vehicles are appearing slowly on the market. Used are getting snapped up. Be patient and you’ll probably get rewarded.
