  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

250-500cc 2013 WR 250 Plastic options

ERIC EDER

AA Class
Hello all I am trying to figure out if the four-stroke after market plastics like the Polisport 2013 TE 310 plastic kit will fit my bike. I know everything is mostly the same except for the rear side covers. Only reason I ask is because I can get a set off Rocky Mountain MC for $100 for the 310, but they don't have anything available for the WR when being sold as a kit.... Any info would be appreciated thank you.

I may wind up doing the UFO or Cemoto all black kit but cant see spending $160+ on plastics that get hammered up here in North Jersey.

I swapped seats, shrouds, and number plates between my 07 SM510R and my 12 WR300. No issues. The 510 was not an X-lite.

I ordered a UFO Kit for a 07 TE 450, I did some research and it seems to me like they will work, and for a $100 for the whole kit even if a couple things match it should be fine.

Did you order this directly from UFO then?

Waiting for new Graphics to come in before I put everything on but I got them from Amazon, Google search UFO HUKIT606-999 you should get some good hits. only things that don't fit are the lower rad covers.

Awesome! Hit me up someday if you are looking for company. I've been to pine barrens few times and to lost trails, but never Vernon area. My bike is plated.

Here's my 08 model ..Not sure what plastic is on the tank but I'm AOK with that embedded graphics stuff. And I just removed that bottom radiator guard piece on this side only ... I might be loosing a little protection but I think it looks much better without that stock piece of plastic.
