  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

2013 TXC 250R front brake rebuild parts needed

My 2013 txc 250R need the front master brake cylinder rebuilt.
I need the piston and seal kit, but husky only lists a complete master cylinder for over 250 bucks.

Any one know the correct part to buy to rebuild the front master cylinder? I'm sure it's the same as something out there, just don't want to guess.

They list everything for the rear separately, but not the front

I think I just need to figure our which size bore it is to get the 4ight brembo seal.

From what I can find out I think 12mm

Sometimes Ktm sold them parts individually.

I needed a rear caliper piston and sized it up through ktm instead husky having to buy whole caliper.

Hey Matthew525, did you ever find the right parts for your husky? I am looking for a front brake master rebuild for my 09' TE310...I am going to measure the piston sometime this week and see if I can find the corresponding KTM part. But if you found one that works, that would help me out. Thanks!

I just got a genuine brembo rebuild kit off the Internet. It's been a while. I can't remember for sure but I think it was a 12mm brembo piston kit. It's been almost a year and a kid later, my memory may be slippin.

Thanks for the response guys. In my case, the master was a 10mm and is the exact same part as KTM 54813008200. Same numbers on the piston and everything. btw my bike is a 2009/10 TE 310.
