  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

2013 te 310 r flames out

Husqvarna
AA Class
had my ecu re-flashed and all the mods have been done,
it runs fine until it starts to (my guess get to hot)
problem is when the bike gets hot (normal single track racing)
it will start to back fire through the exhaust and soon after that
the motor will flame out. first or second even third gear if the motor is below
3500 rpm ( aproximity) and you get on the gas hard or easy it will flame out
any suggestions'

When you say all the mods have been done, what exactly do you mean?

back fire screen removed
tc cage installed
trumpet end opened upped
pro/circuit full exhaust installed
ecu has been mapped for full open exhaust
if I have missed any ,I have probably had it done

It's leaning out. There are two open maps, make sure they flashed to the Leo Vince map. On top of that, your options would be the Get-Power system or PC5.

hi there would the throttle position sensor have any thing to do with it. I just sent them the ecu only not the bike, im on the west coast.
halls did the re flash, he asked me if there was an open exhaust.
so im assuming is the l/v map

Yes, I am sure they did. Have you had it hot before or did it just start happening once you got it hot?

bone stock the bike did not run at all ,im thinking because of all the pollution stuff. I only put 1.5 hours on the bike when new
because it ran so poorly .
so with the help of this form I was pointed in the right direction to what I have now
the hot thing is just what im calling it, because every time it flames out the fan is on ,then after 15 seconds or so the
timer shuts it down.

I think before throwing gobs of money at it, the best bet is to take it into a shop or dealer and have them hook it up to the HST and see what is going on.

Might be worth seing if with stock pipe w/cat removed and backfire screen in it runs well as that may be more what the map targets for setup. Just a thought.

as is now the bike is not rideable it just keeps flaming out
so off the a shop the see what they can make off it
thanks for responding Ill keep an update
