• Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

    Thanks for your patience and support!

2013 Husky 2T line

Just got my latest issue of TBM in the mail on Saturday. They mentioned a one line "rumor" that they heard that Husky will be introducing their entirely new line of 2T's in model year 2013. Just another rumor but it is nice to see it in print.

Here is the actual quote "And rumour has it that Husqvarna are busy developing a new range of two stroke engines to power their 2013 enduro machinery" I just inserted the "entirely new" as an excited by stander.

Interesting... it will be fun to see what they come up with. :)

I'll move this over to the Newsroom with a re-direct

2st -> Newsroom.

Who knows if it is true, but at least it is a better rumor than a whisper in the back of the shop. I would really be bummed if they did but didn't ship them to the US.

I always feared that with the purse strings controlled by BMW and seeing as how the Germans are eco green these days that they would try to phase out the 2T bikes.....on the other hand perhaps BMW has(wisely) looked over yonder to Austria and seen how well the Orange game is going

I hope for new Husky 2T bikes...it would be nice to see some teaser shots to tie us over till '13

lets hope they get their A into G and come out with a nice fuel injected smoker with an electric leg. That will be a category killer imho

Have to wait a bit for me. As of last Thurs., it's a 2012 GG 250 for me(won't get it til next spring). Will hang onto my TXC though.

Well said. I agree, they better catch up and keep up to the Jones'
I thought the "A into G" was especially good
