  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

2012 TE 310****************************************

Pretty sure the street legal models are 6 mos, other bikes 30 days.

Yup, more or less...

Here's the blurb from Husky NA's site:

Model Year 2011 - Motorcycle Warranty

All non-modified 599cc and under 4-stroke Enduro and Supermoto models come with a six-month/unlimited mileage warranty against manufacturing defects and workmanship that covers parts and labor. This includes the TE250 / 310 / 449 / 511 and SM449 / 511 models.

All non-modified 600cc+ displacement Enduro and Supermoto models come with a one-year/unlimited mileage warranty against manufacturing defects and workmanship that covers parts and labor. This includes both the TE630 and SMS630 models.

All other Husqvarna motorcycles are sold as off-road competition racing bikes. Due to the extreme demands and severe conditions these machines are subject to, no comprehensive warranty can be offered. A limited 30-day warranty is offered on all bikes against manufacturing defects and workmanship. This warranty covers parts only. Includes: All Motocross, Cross-Country and 2-stroke Enduro models: CR150; TC250 / 449; TXC250 / 449 / 511; WR150 / 250 / 300.

picked up my 2012 TE310 today!! it's got heaps of stuff from the husky special parts catalogue, like

1, triple clamps
2, bar mounts
3, cold start lever
4, bash plate
5, 47 tooth rear sprocket
6, carbon frame guards
7, alloy fuel cap
8, front axel nut

It also has a full Akrapovic exhaust system, electronic jetting kit and the head has been ported. it also has mark 3 pivot pegs and a gold did x ring chain, and on monday its off to the suspension tuner to get the suspension set up for me. I've also put the rubber air boot from a TC on it
Cant wait to take it for a ride tomorrow!!

Has Akrapovic come out with a 310 specd exhaust system or is this the 250 part number? When I checked one Husqvarna parts fiche it did look like the pipe parts for the 250 and 310 are the same. However not 100% sure about fitament and have read that the 250 and 310 have different cylinder heights affecting sharing same parts. I am sure the engine characteristics are different so a specific made pipe for the 310 is ideal.

The 250 system fits the 310 no problem at all.

Can someone comment on what would give more low to mid range power the 12 hole injector with race ecu or a full akro system or should i do both?
I have a stock te310 2011

Great looking bike! Did you remove the turn signals completely? I'm debating what to do with mine on my 2013.

12 point injector and race ecu being fitted tomorrow according to husky the tps needs to be reset i will see how it goes without changing the pipe for my next ride.
stay tuned

HELP! got the pro circuit full exhaust for my 12 TE310 for x_mas…. put it on and removed the 02 sensor and got the jumper installed, blue map switch finally works but its running like crap i plan on getting the 12port injector/ecu kit but i got a trip com in tuesday... can i run the bike with the o2 sensor plugged in and zip tied outta the way and sealed via ziplock and duct tape :D or is there a better alternative?

probably way too lean with the PC pipe and with out the 12 port injector/ecu.might have to put your stock exh back on unless you are nearby us to pick up the injector ecu kit.dan

damn…. but it looks so good on there haha the kit runs around 480$ correct? …. you think ups will make it to riverside by tues?

Stock exhaust went back on last night :/ it's ok I'd rather have it running right ... The kit is the top of the list for 2014 $

It was actually a gift from my uncle but I think he got it directly from them their office is only about 30 min from the house ...

Thanks. I ended up picking up an FMF system for just under $500. The Pro Circuit exhaust is nice, but just a bit more than I wanted to pay. Post some pics of your bike with the PC exhaust.
