• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

2012 SM511 s coming soon.Husky sold out of Te250/449/511s/Tc449s/Wr250s

Thanks I will do that! you sold me my Motoz 120/90-18 rather than the 140/80-18 in Arkansas and by the way a kid from out here is going to contact you soon about the same tires. they work great but they do have a whine to the rear tire! if i lean just a little either direction it goes away. is that because of the compound or tire pressure? what I was thinking,, is to put a new 15tooth front and a 43 tooth rear to get more road and dirt road friendly as it is now its constant shifting and feels like i either geared to high or wanting to jump a triple any advice?

Wish I knew what to do. It´s the bike I always wanted. What´s stopping me is that everyone here is warning me off it on the roadworthy issue (especially against taking it on the motorway). The usual warning is "You can ride it all out for as long as you can hold your breath". But if it were geared up, it should be ok and not as service intensive as a competition bike???? My 630 is a GREAT bike ... but just too unwealdy and heavy.

just picked up my 12 511smr a weekago, cruz s on freeway at 60-65 good no vibration and a quick throttle i was at 90! did order at 40 tooth rear spocket(so i can go on some long runs) but very happy with this bike.So light and balanced, this is my 1st huskey and I love it......I had a drz before did all the mods and this huskey out of the box is 10x the bike!

40t works great and JD tuner and a leo or FMf muffler just make them come alive ,with that gearing they will cruise all day at 70 comfortable.

ok maybe someone can answer this: I called my local dealer to get a fmf but, they said its not aval. yet. I asked them if the 511te was the same? He wasnt sure. Now I pulled up both bikes and they looks the same.I cant see the diff, same frame, and pipe mounting. Need some info

A powercore4 will slide right on. If you want a Q4 or Factory silencer, then you must include a TC449 header and a TC449 Q4/Factory.
