• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

2012 Endurocross Schedule out

Just saw the new schedule, every round west of the Rockies. What's up with that? Just sayin.....

damn that sucks ass!! at least there might still be hope for indy with a little luck but it seems that the attendence sucked at most of their venues. ill admit indy wasnt packed either. like alot of things in life if dont make dollars it doesnt make sense.....lets all hope for the best i know both my son and i were looking forward to going back to indy this year.

I went to the Indy round last year and it was a great event, just too busy that weekend with the Moto gp.I wish they ran it in the winter like arenacross in small markets. DesMoines , Minneapolis , Madison etc. it seems like the next generation of endurocross guys are going to come out of the corn fields and north woods than south cal.

Just ship your bike, and buy a plane ticket. Thats what we did for the Vegas Endurocross. Check out Air Group.. they are national enduro guys and are understanding of what you are trying to do! They have shipping docs at most major cities.. Its a lot cheaper than driving! :) Wish we would have known about them in 2010 when we drove to the idaho city 100! :)

It's like the Nat'l Enduro series with 6 races in the southeast. Go where the money is. of course, now I'm on the other end of the deal - boo!!! I would like to do an ex race. Someday I hope they come to better venues in the south. Florence SC was an oddball place to come. Macon GA or Chattanooga TN would be great locations.
