  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

2011 txc 449 problem?

B Class
to all of the husky brains out there i still cannot find anyone that can help with the problem i'm having with my txc449.
at about the 30+ min. mark when the bike gets hot my bike starts missing and cutting out when i try to blip the throttle, just as i try to lift the front wheel over a tree or a ditch the response i need is not there? the bike keeps running it just lacks the response?
i have checked all wiring connections , fuel vent and feed lines, switched to non-ethanol fuel with additive, bought a new feul pump relay and switched it out thinking that it was getting hot and not working, nothing has helped.
now the closest husky dealer to me is atlanta 6 1/2 hrs away, i guess if no one else has any info or advice they will be my only hope to have a bike i can ride longer than a 1/2 hr.
anyone????????????
frustrated beyond control!

Sounds like the fuel pump itself to me,just replaced the one on MY11TE250, would die or run like crap after it got hot! New pump and it runs fine now ! sounds like it drops fuel pressure when it gets hot ? I think mine needs around 40 psi to run properly! If you could make a fuel pressure gage to fit the fuel line you could check when cold and after it gets hot and know for sure.
