  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

2011.. te449 front fender & headlight fit a txc 250?

C Class
Hey there folks just need help. I want to add street legal stuff to the txc little by little. I love the way the 449 and 511 looks with the headlights and fenders, so if I could go that route I would.

Also wondering about the wiring harness if it would be plug and play with my current wiring harness and plugs

TIA

Idk if there are too many guys that have both, so, it could be a tough question to answer. I seriously doubt there is any interchangeability.

Thanks man. I kinda figured. Dealers could not say for sure as well. I posted on a guys thread over at thumpertalk cause he has both models. Hoping for good news.

I was thinking of doing this to my TE310... so I looked up (in the parts manual) and compared part numbers for the forks and triple clamps etc for both bikes. I am pretty sure the 2 piece fender will fit (couldn't say about header clearance); I am less certain about the the headlight/number plate combo but I'd guess it's semi-bolt on at least.

you could definitely MAKE it work, if you're into mods.

good luck.

Looks awesome!! plastics arriving on wednesday and will post up pics. Credit to racer476 for the pics.

Hey, It looks awesome. I would like to do the same mod to my TE250. Basically, it is to put a TE449/511 front fender, but, what about the headlight? as I have a TE, I already have it. Do I need to make any mods?

My bad Alberto...late reply. Plug and play for the fender and number plate. Just make sure you have enough screws for the the 2 peice.
Do not throw away those aluminum bolt sleeves on the old fender. You will be using it. Overall I'm pleased with the result. Now just gotta research more on the headlight harness and electrical stuff. BTW...try and get it from motosport if you can. Whole thing cost me less than $35.

No worries my friend, thank you for doing this and providing information about the mod. Do you know by any chance if the head light face will work in the same way? And the part number for the fender when ordering at motozports?

and.. about the fender, just plug and play or any mod required?

For the ones thinking about doing this mod, I have to say the 250/310 headlight does not fit the 449/511 fender. you will have to order the combo: number plate/headlight and fender all together.

You can do it without any doubt. One friend of mine did it without any problem. You will need headlight, front plate, and complete front ferder (2 pieces, black and white)

Good luck!
