Hi all, just joined up as I am looking at buying my first Husky.
First thing, are the motors in these pretty bulletproof for a 4 stroke? I have always been a 2 stroke guy, as the ease of maintenence worked for me, and heard lots of horror storys with 4 stroke guys, admittedly 99% mxers, and large rebuild costs which always scared me off.
Are there any common issues with the 310 motors in the 2011 year bikes, fuel injection etc? The bike I am looking at, was aparently the bike that husky here in NZ used to lend to Journos and magazine testers. It also has the computer in it switched to the TXC310, anyone able to shed any light on what would be the benefit/disadvantage of having this on there?
From all reviews of the bike, they point to the bike being exactly what I am after, just need some convincing to switch to a 4 stroke from the trusty old 2 strrokers.
