Hi everyone,this is my first post here, I just bought a new old stock 2011 TC449. I have done a bunch of reading and found different answers to the question below so I thought I would start a new topic to cover them all in one place. I also just got back from my first ride. Nice bike.
I have a few q's please:
- Is the Jumper that is referred to here only applicable to the TE and TCX models, ie not the TC?
- Does this mean the ecu reflash to put it into MAP#3 mode does not need doing on the TC?
- Is it possible to update the 2011 to 2012 spec allowing me to change maps whilst the engine is still running?
- Is the updated air box on the 2012 only the cover that has the 4 mesh covered windows to allow more air in? If so if I get this lid for my bike will the fueling be off?
- I read someone used an extended breather hose to fix the oil puking problem, can you elaborate and give photos please?
- I also read that I should use different weight oil, not 0w-40, what weight please?
