• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

They are now in Canada. I got the call today.

Apparently 18 of them came to Canada and they have 26 orders for them so do the math....

In a warehouse? Sounds lame and like someone is sitting on their a$$ and not doing their job but if you talked with them, the bikes might be collecting dust for a valid (if that is possible) reason ...

What's the address of the warehouse ... maybe we should go raid the place :)

OK thx ScottyR and sorry for the bad news for you, i wait my TC250, but never had news... dealer juste say "one more week", "one more week", Etc...

I am not too heartbroken about giving it up. I have lots of bikes to pick from....LOL!!

I am very curious to hear how it runs. I am hearing mixed reviews about the bike. I hope it works really good for everyones sake.

After reading about the 449 out here for over 8 months ... I'm not so sure on what to believe about these sites ... One hates it and the next loves it .... U gotta apply UR own filters to come up with what you decide on the bike IF you are not riding it yourself ..

Unless the bike is tossing rods out the case at 100 miles, it is probably a good bike to ride...

The words "Mikuni" and "battery-less" used in the same sentence makes a certain part of my anatomy pucker.

Once a bad taste such as 'Mikuni' is tied to a brand ... it has staying power ... such as 'can't get parts', 'no dealers', 'I thought they quit making Huskies?' ... New bikes with new parts are cutting edge and it is easy to fall off the cutting edge ...

Sounds like the TC250s are here now we can see how many we get.I talked to a guy who has a 2010 rode the 2011 the other day said runs great.billf

Normally I receive my bike Wednesday (dealer inforamtion from today), April 13 is the last chance because I took a vacation to go ride Saturday April 16th, if i dont have my 250HVA I'll get a Suziki 250rmz 2011. countdown is started.
