• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Scored some great seats front and center for this coming Saturday ....

Still waiting for Clay from 7602 to post up a contest....:excuseme:

My prediction:

1)Dungey
2)Bubba (Tight race with him leading for a while)
3)Short

Reed - will crash out halfway thru....

I think cr will be ESP careful not to blow up his entire team \ company race 1 as he and js7 pretty much did at the start of last years racing ...

AS will surprise alot of people ... he's a top rider and the orange veggy club is ready to win in this arena also ... Not sure about a podium on race 1 though unless he gets a great start ...

RV is still my local homeboy bet till further notice and kw being my real homeboy...being from the south and all ...

js7
rv
rd
as
cr
kw
tc

Man, I am SO excited for this year!!! I'm pulling for Dungey to take the overall. I really think there'll be some stiff talent this year.

I say,
Dungey
Vilapoto
Canard
Stewart

I too fear that Reed is done. :(

Yeah man, the contests from 7602 last year were a blast. No giveaways necessary... it was just a lot of fun. :)

RD might can do just that ... he finished a man among boys last year but RV was broke at that time ...

It'll be interesting to see how cr's non-factory bike performs ...

I'm actually 15 hrs or so ahead of you guys so I gotta wait till the next day for the racing to start ...

SX Lites
Ivo Monticelli (ITA)
Antonio Balbi (BRA)

That is my extremely biased sponsor/partner in biz prediction.

Also for anyone on site be sure to stop by the privateer Italian Team SX pits and tell them Robert sent you to say hey for our privateer team fan support!

PS In SX, Antonio Cairoli will be in the top ten. (closer to the 10 side) his goals are not so lofty just to give a solid clean ride and have fun getting his feet wet in AMA SX.

Stewart is probably very rusty...even if he's leading I expect him to have silly crashes.

Can't rule out Metcalf or Canard. I expect Dungey and Villapoto will be at the front, followed by JS7...

Husky T,

What section did you get in at Anaheim?

I bought 2 tickets on the rail in section 108.

Looks straight down the starting line and mid way on the long straight, hoping to be center line of a big triple.

Do you know the exact track layout IE where the jumps, woops, rhythms will be as they just showed the overall track layout when i bought the tickets.

Where did you guys purchase your tickets at?

222 will do a few (according to him) and only for fun and testing the waters. He is here now, has been here a couple of weeks. Will be on the 350 (hope he goes for it)

Section F109 smack dab in the middle ( hopefully of that triple....) but I'm a few rows back.... Ilike being back from the rail a ways.... Ticket master on third attempt first two attempts had me at either the right field foul pole Nosebleed 500 sections....

We'll see you there.... PM me your number and I can text you when we are there!

I'm hitting the pits around 4:30 ....
