  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

125-200cc 2011 Husqvarna WR 150 Skid Plate

Thanks for the info. After 8 months, I have not received the skid plate from P3. Has anyone built one for the new CR 125/140? I am still using the stock skid plate but the PA rocks need something more substantial .

Wow, I just wrote Kelly from Motosportz about this exact issue yesterday. I had/have a P3 guard, which I managed to knock off in a race. I picked up the plate itself, but the mounting hardware is gone. Wrote to P3, never heard anything. Does anyone know if they really exist anymore? Seems like the worst communication from any company that I've ever heard of.

Anyway, Kelly doesn't have any for the 2011's since the frame has changed from 09. (I think it changed in '10, but not sure.)

Here's one I found for you on Ebay that looks like it should work:

If you're slightly handy....I made mine out of a $5 piece of aluminum plate. Just need a hammer, a vise, a drill and taps if you want to get fancy.

Hi Guys,
For a 2010 WR 150 or XC here in Australia.
I had a piece of aluminium plate bent up thru simple platerollers and then cut and filed smooth and it runs up in front of radiator hoses and has a hole for exhaust to poke out. Keeps bike extreemly clean in mud events. Extends to cover water pump housing. Simple electrical conduit clamps to hold in place with factory fittings. A bit finicky to fit but a treat when fitted up.

Mark - will do the pic and identification soon
