    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Ok I know this may have been discusssed but I couldn't find it on a search. What is the average miles you are getting on a tank of gas or before low fuel light? Thanks.
 
On my 2012 full power with 40 tooth rear I was at 54.5mpg. I just put the 50 tooth on so I'll check it soon.
 
I've seen 30-50mpg on the 50t rear sprocket. It really depends on how much you flog the bike. I've been told 80 miles a tank is pretty normal, but I've never emptied a tank.

Have 50 tooth rear, and ride mostly dirt. Only ride street to get to trails and home (8 miles each way). Im also not WOT in trails...bikes fast. I had 56 miles on last fill and only took 1.4 gallons to the very top. 40+ mpg for me.
 
Just got back from California City in Mojave Desert, CA. Did 62 miles with 50T rear. All out desert riding to technical. I'll refill the tank to see how much I used. I am putting a 47T sprocket on cause the top end is horrible. I love the 2011 310 but man do I miss the top end of the CRF450X. No I don't need to go that fast but in the open desert it would be nice to not have to pull so many RPM's. Enjoy.
 
I have a 46 tooth main on mine. A few weekends ago at Cal City I rode about 78 miles before the low light came on. This by no means was all out riding, just cruising around. Local I was getting about 68 with lots of hill climbing and tech stuff.
