• Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

2010 Tecate Enduro 4DEC2010

start minute drawing

last night was the start minute drawing, I showed up with my daughter just for fun and some food.
Our 4 man crew..............got pulled first out of the hat. we are minute 1 (0) ahead of alot of really fast guys.........including at least 1 Nat enduro champ and many ISDE vets and current riders,,,,,,,,hope for decent passing zones. Funny stuff.

Looks like Revelle Harrison starting right behind you on minute 2.

I will be on minute 35 with my 2 friends and Alexander Smith (Malcome's son), was assigned to our minute as well.

Looks like Dirt Rider and Dirt Bike crews are in as well as Dick Burleson. Jordan Bradnt (fast NorCal-Nat. End) guy with his crew is in also.

Team Green boys 3 rows behind me.

Still waiting on Zip Ty crew to sign up.

Looks like about 12 rows left to fill, before the rider limit is reached. Come on CH crew, come on down for some fun, Tecate single track :busted:

Or... they may be able to let you know in their own way that they are ready to pass.

the first and only nat enduro i did had me in front of a laundry list of the fastest enduro riders in the nation..... Mike Lafferty was the best at letting me know he was coming, that guy has loud yell!! from like 3 corners behind you could hear him. On minute 2 are 2 other really (old) fast guys as well Jimmy B and ISDE vet Grant P. this is going to be fun!!

As of today there are only 9 rows left and its starting to look like Ty Davis may be able to make it!

All it means is that for about a minute or 2 we will be leading the tecate enduro.
Our pace will be controlled by our masters rider for L1 and 2 as long as we stay on time. L3 every man in our crew for himself.
ps with the ZipTy crew signed I now have Ty and Andy in my class along with a whole boatload of A and former pro AA seniors..........finish is the key word here.
