    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

2010 Te310 12pt Injector/race Ecu Parts Number?

Hi everyone,
I am the joyful new owner of a like new TE310 2010. It has the power up kit installed (50 rear sprocket, O2 eliminated, harness plug and spark arrestor in the exhaust.

I have been reading plenty of threads on the Race ECU/Injector/ Exhaust tip but everything I find is for the 2011+ model.

Does anyone could provide a thread with the parts number information for the 2010 model to change the ECU to the race with 12pt injector?

I am working on the iBeat cable and software.

I've been searching for 2 days, so either I am not good at it or it's hidden really well somewhere, I bet it's around.

The 2010 TE31o is a different motor than the 2011 onward.

The 2010 310 has the old motor and there is no Race ECU I know about. the later 12pt ECUs don't work on it.

Does your motor have a red valve cover or a black valve cover?
 
it's a red cover with the older motor. It appears that 8000H2002 was the ECU kit at the time.

If anyone has that kit, I would be curious to know the ECU only part number.

I dont remember anyone doing a 12pt conversion on the old big block red head motor.

I'd just get I-beat and tune it.

They ran fine stock when tuned.

thank you, I finally got my laptop running Windows 32bits, and I am finishing getting the cable ready. Any pointers on what to follow for a 2010 / old block red head engine?

Look in the Carb/EFI section of this site.

Your bike has additional parameters to see set than the newer ones.

If I remember correctly the TPS should be set to 100.5% at wide open throttle.
You have to set the "FB"(?) settings as well as the CO's.

The later bikes like mine don't have FB settings, and the TPS for later bikes is 102.3%

Don't confuse the two.

You may have to look a bit back in the folder to find the older settings since most people here have the newer bikes.

May search the EFI forum for "FB" or "FB1"
