    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

I made this thread on my 2010 Tc250, i did make a thead on it when i got it back in march. since then i have done over 70 hours on the bike and it was looking all beat up!. so i jumped onto bto sports and other parts website that i has access to in australia and ordered some parts :) every one likes new parts

New Parts: (ORDERED)
  • Custom graphics (stylemx)
  • Pro taper handle bars with the new 2.0 bar pad (CR mid)
  • New shroud plastics
  • FMF complete exhaust system RCT 4.1 carbon tip (with power bomb)
  • new Hour meter (cable on old one is stuffed)
  • billet rim lock bolts (RED)
Parts to order/buy
  • New tyres (no sure what brand yet)
  • Red gear shift lever
  • vortex ignition
  • colored spoke wraps
Mods already
  • 2011 black yz250/450 front mmud guard
  • 2011 black yz250/450 cycra number plate
  • pro taper hangas (custom bend "bent")
  • took out the rises in the bar mount and put them under neath the top triple clamp
  • Metzler tyres 60 hours old wrecked
So basicly this thread is just a build! well half a build. i striped it last week and cleaned it for new parts, but the parts from bto are taking a while.

heres a few pivs of it now the welds on the standed pipe broke

That Yammerhammer front fender looks awesome. I've always liked the angles on it.

I'm partial to the Motoz tires myself. :D

So have you had a chance to test the ProCircuit exhaust? If so how does it feel? BTW the bike looks sweet :cheers:.
 
Gotta say i like the bike. Never been a big fan of black but it looks good on the bike. Was the number plate and fender and easy fit? I put a 2010 yz450f fender on my yz250 and it was a little more of a pain than i thought it would be. Considering putting one on my 310 as well.

hey bud its a new yamaha front end plastics 250/450 2010/13 but i used the cycra number plate because it attaches to the fork not the triple clamp
