    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

2010 TC250 Jetting for Woods AND MX (or grasstrack)

Hi,
I hope you can help me.

Does anybody have their exact jetting settings for the above bike.

I need TWO settings.

1. WOODS :: Woods racing on tight twisty single track tree dodging, and
2. GRASSTRACK :: Fast OPEN MX or Grasstrack where long fast open and flat tracks dominate

Need.

a. Needle used
b. Clip position
c. All internal jet sizes
d. Other carb settings
e. Spark plug

Any help much appreciated
 
I'll look around and see what we have in mine. I called Hall's and they set us up with some revised carb parts and the bike has ran a ton better ever since. We also have the LeoVince slip on which helped too.
 
You are welcome. I think you will find once you get it set up you will only need to make minor air/fuel screw agjustments for temp./alt changes. I ride mine on Mx tracks, grass fields, woods, follow the grandkids, and try and keep up with my son on his 2011 TM 250MX LOL.
 
I remember the last day I could stay ahead of my son (the one I'm trying to get this 250 sorted out for). It was a funny day. Right up til that point I had always ridden at 98% so he could get past me and Id fake it how I just couldn't keep up. Then that day I was 101% and he blasted passed me.....it was a sad/sweet moment.... :-)

Anyway....he ain't going anywhere unless I get this 250 fixed ;-)
