• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Husqvarna
AA Class
LIMITED NUMBER OF CHAMPIONSHIP REPLICA’S AVAIALBLE

Celebrating their double World Supermoto Championship victories, Husqvarna has built a very limited number of replicas of the class winning SM 450RR and the SM 530RR race-bikes.

These exclusive race-bikes are fitted with the same racing components found on the machines raced by Adrien Chareyre and Gerald Delepine to double victories in the Premier (open) class and the 450 class.

Now the “enthusiast” can take to the track on the same bikes that swept the 2008 World Supermoto Championship. These bikes have a very distinctive look setting them apart from the rest of the field. The one-off graphics and a tapered seat clearly indicate the RR’s are all about racing.

The frame on the “RR” is TIG welded with an adjustable steering head, mated to a black anodized “shortened” swingarm for better traction and quicker steering. The frame is also painted black. The rims are Excel featuring the “tubeless” STS Alpina’s, set-up. The front tire is 120/70 x 16.5 and the rear has a Dunlop 170/55 X 17 race slick. The brakes feature an all-new one-piece caliper / pump set-up. The front rotor is 310mm’s with a “wave” design for better “feel” and heat dispersion.

The front fork is a 50 MM Marzocchi with “sealed cartridge” technology. The rear shock is a specially prepared aluminum bodied Sachs unit.

The more powerful race engines feature special cams and pistons with an STM “slipper” clutch. Both the 450 and 530 are fitted with specially produced “twin silencer” Arrow full titanium exhaust systems.

Spares include some sprockets, various rake angle steering-head inserts, and racing brake and clutch levers.

The SM 450RR and SM 530RR are for racing and not street legal.

PRICING:
SM 450RR MSRP$12,299US

These are high performance racing motorcycles intended strictly for competition. No warranty is provided or implied.

great bikes

i bought a 06 rr and when you consider what i costs to converts a tc or mod a street model, it really is a great deal, forks work right out of the box. no sending to a suspension specialist. ported head, slipper, comes with a set of race tires. works so well, no steering damper needed !!:thumbsup:
