  • Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

    Thanks for your patience and support!

Although it's about an 2010 510...still some pretty good reading.:thumbsup:

Living with a 2010 Husky TE 510!

No lights newer looking...:thinking::thinking:

$4000 would be a steal...or anything under $5000 would be OK.

:cheers:

That makes me feel better. I just picked up my first Husky last week, an '08 TE510 with only 460 miles and in great shape. I paid $4200 and a couple hundred more fetching it in gas cost. I was hoping I didn't overpay. :thumbsup:

darn you! lol I was looking at that husky in reno for sale. Amazing deal I was trying to talk a friend into buying it.

You got a great deal, enjoy it and welcome to husqvarna, :thumbsup:

I would have been driving 8 hours from LA so you did good man. I paid $8500 for my 09 te510 last year and I have over 1600 miles on it now. I wish i could have more, its hard finding riding buddies these days

I GOT THE BIKE, YEAH It had a blown fuse so the speedo was not working, replaced fuse and the bike has 1159 miles on it. It is a blast to play on so much power, can't wait to get it out on some good trails. It has the power up kit already installed. Tires are like new as are all brake pads. It has a solid rotor in the rear is this stock? It has husqvarna stamped on it. So the adventure begins.
