  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

125-200cc 2004 CR/WB165 Build Thread

yeah that was a pretty good buy. I got mine for $900 off CL. Buddy Mike just payed like $1500 for his 04 CR125 but it was like new. Still a great deal.

Magura hydro clutch should be here today!! Can't wait to ride again!!

Now you need a Midwest Mountain Engineering lever to make it ever sweeter. Oh and a 18" rear wheel. I'm really liking mine. Then a hammerhead shifter with +20 tip. Keep up man :p

No Hammerhead junk for me......

I've ran 18's before and sometimes they are better for me and sometimes they are not. Besides, there is a 19" trials tire available now...... if I wanted one.

Now I need more info on the MME lever...

Hammerhead is not junk, far from it. The 18" made a noticeable improvement in traction and comfort (and tire selections). The 19" trials tires suck (or so my friends tell me so I never tried one).

http://www.midwestme.com/pages/productinfo.html - Just got one for my 511, hear they make the clutch lighter and smoother.

- Check your Email for info on Ginters springs

Found some useful information in here. So where did you purchase the 2005 tank covers? Also how did you get them to fit with the IMS tank?

Rear fender off what year 2 smokers will work?

Definitely convinced me to stick with the 2000 style tank and seat!

Never mind I now see the side panels/airbox covers are different, not the tank shrouds...duh!

Hoov165x-That is one sweet Husky, one of the nicest I've seen. Thanks for taking the time to do a write up and letting all of us enjoy it. Makes me want a WB165 kit for mine. Maybe later as I'm broke right now. By the way, the 18" rear made a difference on mine, that and the AT81's.

Thanks again.
