• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

2-Stroke covers?

And if you do make 125 covers will their be an optional one thats a bit deeper to clear an autoclutch?

125-150 parts are still a long ways off. Sorry, I know that's not what you guys want to hear. Just not enough hours in the day to tackle everything we want to make.

Got mine yesterday. Fast shipping and a fantastic product. Love the stickers too.....
hey hogwackr planning on orderin one of these soon, undoing that screw takes too long plus they look sweet! did you reuse the original seal when you got the cover or buy a newbie? is it just easier/safer to get a new seal? where should the oil level be on the sight glass-is there a level mark? cheers mate

I reused the o-ring. Just make sure that you take your time putting on the new cover. Don't try to stuff it in too tight or you'll end up thinking that the o-ring is too big.....It's not! It'll fit just fine! I run mine around half way up the sight glass, there is no level mark.

hey thanks, what colour did you go-the red looks a little loud?

We will be starting the production run of both covers sometime next week. Should be shipping sometime early-mid July.
just a quick cheers for the quality clutch/ignition covers & case savers you guys make. top shelf stuff & reasonably priced(ex trooper lu's). functional, practical(sight glass is gold!) & look awesome. never even knew bout you guys till got on this site. thanks again, ill be back!

The covers look pretty cool, but I'm curious how long the color holds up with a boot rubbing on it all the time. The red looks really nice, but black could be touched up with paint. ??

As with anything that is getting drug and beaten through the rocks and mud they will show signs of wear. Individual scratches, on red or black covers can be touched up with a sharpie marker oddly enough. You won't be able to tell from 5 feet away. The larger high wear areas where your boot rubs are harder to touch up due to their larger size. Unfortunately it's just one of those things that can't be avoided on a dirtbike.

I wonder how clear plastic in the boot rub area would hold up? Four stroke motors might get too hot, but I wonder if it might hold up on a 2st ...

i went with the black cos the red looks too fast for my pace! ridn on sunday so will see how they hold up after a few solid hours of punishment. either way the stock covers have lost their paint & i really wanted em for the sight glass(& i had some $ burnin a hole in me pocket). i like my bike to look good/clean but i much prefer ridin it-paints only cosmetic!

ok..I'm gonna ask,any news on the 125/144 covers yet? Got money burnin' a whole in my pocket...and once it falls out ,the wife ends up with it!!
