• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Here's a pair of shoes to go with your outfit when you walk around the paddock. Now if only you could put a husky logo on them.

No kiddin!

These are usually what my work boots look like.

Except for the laces. I have bunch of knots in my laces from the chain and front sprocket cutting it.

Mrs always says I smell like gas and oil. Shall I say my shop.

On the 7th day of Christmas, my Gun Kote came to me!

Some satin yellow,

Some stainless steel,

Some satin black,

Some satin blue,

Some satin white,

Some anodized blue,

And some hiiiiiigggggghhhhhh teeeeemmmmmpppppp masking tape!

Hopefully, have some nice covers coming out of the oven Saturday.

Kinda like makin and bakin cut out Christmas cookies.

Directions say, only way to remove it..... Must be mechanical means....

Didn't say anything about a motocross boots, so alright! We are good!

I've used this before. It wears good and only way to get it all off, is to sand blast, sand or wire wheel off.

Now, they got all fancy colors!

Took cover in one time to get stripped for anodizing. He showed me a small casting mark. He said no can do cause it will turn gray. I said then what heck did they put on here? He said that Gun Kote like stuff.

Merry Christmas!

Here are my first batch parts out of blast cabinet.

Now I will clean them again and they go back in to be blasted, switching over to glass beads.

Focus today is to get the covers done with the art work.

Nice! Merry Christmas to you and yours. I'm at BWW watching the packers game with my 2 kids atm. I got up early to get some wiring done on my F150. Installing a new sound system. I can never leave well enough alone, I'm sure you can relate...haha

Well, lil behind cause my air brush stopped working.

Took the thing all apart. Cleaned it good and still no go.

Ran in to town and grabbed another one.

So I will commence on Monday.
