• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

For any of you hooligans that want a 17 TE 150, Bill has the last one headed to the west coast until 2018 models on his show room floor right now. At least that is the rumor that I have heard.

The more I read about the TE150 the more i want one. Sounds like the ultimate featherweight singletrac weapon. If my WR250 ever wears out i will get one!

I seriously considered the TE 150 but already having a ripper of a CR 144 decided to go with the TX 300....figure what the hell....ride it this season and if it proves to be too much bike....I'll sell it/trade it in on a new '18...platform?....WHO KNOWS at this point hehehehehe

Prob be lots of bugs in the first year of injected 2 strokes. I remember when the first injected 2 stroke outboards hit the market I was a tech service rep for Mercury we had our hands full trying to get them to work as good as the carb models. Funny thing is in the end the regular injected 2 stroke outboards never ran any better than the carb models! The DFI models however ran much better.

I pop the seat and side plastics off, then silencer. Once done, remove four subframe bolts and back carb clamp. Flip up and over to left side besides tank. Wa la! Perfect shot!

I figured that since Walt is laid up. He is prob bored, needing something to do, needing to start with wrench therapy, before riding therapy. Just remember! Left to loosey! Righty to tighty!

Here ya go!

Dalsoggio XP One kit

One compression unit (Not for your shoulder Walt! Your Forks!)

Two new pistons

Two pack of compression shims

Looks good. I have read good things about it. Mostly will help you fast guys in the whoops. I will be interested to see if it hurts that nice compliance in slow technical crap.
