• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

TE/TC 150kit for TE125 2016 EU

Georgy

Husqvarna
B Class
Hello

my son has almost killed his TE125 engine by messing around with air filter installation (that's ok daddy, I put it right, don't be boring.. you know).
Piston is dead completely in 10 hours; Cylinder has lost all the honing in the lower part and obviously bottom end will not last for years. I will change a piston now, but one day the bike will make what we call STALINGRAD.

Please correct my if I wrong, in 2016 Husky was only 125 and 150 was only KTM. Thus, to get 150cc , what I need to buy is 2016 KTM EXC cylinder, head , piston and conrod.

Is that correct? Nothing else?
Thanks a lot

Just call a reputable husky dealer... To my knowledge you just buy the 150 big bore kit directly from husky and it also includes a black box to...$799 retail...u will have to swap your powervalve parts...kit is complete..I like 150's better but there is and article on the 16 tc comparing two one with a 150 kit and one stock 125...seems like they liked the 125 better..

My Husky dealer has no experience in that upgrade, I was the first one asking this quetion. He suspects that this http://www.ktm-parts.com/SXS16150000.html will work, but has his doubts , as this set is for MX bike and for Enduro can be a bit different.
What is the article refer to? BTW European price for this is 1200 EUR=1370 USD 8=[]

thank you

Call Hall's Cycles in the U.S. even if you don't buy from them, I bet they can help if you explain your situation: (217) 789-0107
