'13 310R TXC or wr125/165

I was at my local dealer yesterday having a squiz at the new white husky - ktms when I was given a deal on a new 2013 TXC r that they d just dropped the price on to clear .. The deal was over $3k less than a '14TE .
I got the ok from the boss on the proviso that I sell the 165.
I put down my deposit but now having some second thoughts

Wifey isn't too happy about the rego issue and that I may need to keep both bikes ( and try to make the TXC look regod - very rare to get checked)
Maybe I should change my order and get one of the last wr125s for around $500 more and then I can sell the old wr and transfer 165 kit across.
Or try to keep both or forget it and get back my deposit - but the deal is too good..
Thing is as much as Id love what the 310 is I really prefer to have a reg plate .
The TXC would be better for doing occasional MX and a race but not sure if that will happen as much as Id like ..
I d like the four stroke for a change but not sure if I will tire of it quickly
So I need to make up my mind by tomorrow morning ..
any insight may help

Yes. It was a 2011 te. with 2012 mods and leo vince
i liked it .was a bit concerned about starting issues. But think new bike with warranty for a second hand bike price would be good
I wouldn't mind doing a bit of mx if the mrs can get over it and the Wr isn't great for that
I was looking at second hand tc 250s. And 450s. But these txc s seem to have more flexibility

Convince the wife the 165 will be a collectors item and keep it then get the 310 also.
Load open pipe map and throw a better muffler on the 310 and have fun.

My buddy Jon has both an 04 CR165 and a 14 TXC310. I think he has the best of both worlds and the perfect weapon for most any circumstance. Right now he is faster and more comfortable on the 165 but I expect that to change as he gets more familiar with the 310.

After much deliberation I decided to go with the new 125 instead but he changed the price from saturday so I am pulling out of the deal now . He hadn't ordered the TXC so its all good .
Sticking with the old bike for a while now

Being in the sales I am always amazed that people leave a deposit on something then go home change there mind and want there deposit back. When you leave a deposit the person who took it now has to tell anyone who comes in that the part for which the person left the deposit on is sold not avalible ect. Any way here in the USA the law is on your side you leave a deposit you can get it back. But the sales person can not sell the product while you have the deposit on it does not make sense to me It is vary rare I take a deposit most of the time I just tell the person go home think about it and hopefully tomorrow if you still want it ,it will still be here Cars and motorcycles are such a emotional purchase

He hadn't even spoke to the distributor so it didnt affect anyone
I know what you mean though He was quite happy and he offered it back as i think he realised he was doing too good a deal -wasn't making anything
I did buy some sweet red husky ridding pants and top they wanted to clear
It's a good time to buy Italian

A lot of businesses get around that in the US by charging a "restocking fee." As long as its in the small print up front there is nothing can be done about it afterward. Just tell them the deposit was applied to the restocking fee.
