I finally decided to try the chainsaw mount on my 125, my WR250f has been my dedicated chainsaw bike for years. It works very well for that so I have not messed with what works. I wanted to get some seat time on the 125 so I decided to mount up the setup I let buddies borrow with my small saw and quick mount that goes on with 4 hose clamps. It worked very well, I was really happy. I still cant believe how well it worked... These bikes never cease to amaze me. Also with the lectron I used just at 1.75 gallons in 52 miles, almost 30mpg! That rules, pushing 4 stroke territory there.
The early morning clouds were really cool.
Mt Ranier was creating its own weather
Our largest tree for the day this one was elevated about 3 feet and about 36" across it was a bit scary to cut.
This trail doesn't get ridden much, at times it is hard to find.
We could have stayed home and watched some sporting event on tv, but missed them all for stuff like this
We even stopped for a swim in one of the nice lakes later in the day
Saw some small rocks
Some had trees growing out of them
Another cool lake at the end of the day
And then we rode right under the waterfall where the water left the lake
All in all we hit 5 lakes in 52 miles, not a tough way to spend the day.
Here is the video from that one trail yesterday, it is a long video for a very short trail. This 4 miles took us 28 minutes of riding based on the video. Clearing the trail as we went it took a little over 2 hours.
