  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

'12 TE310 and iBeat

I believe you need the HST to change the map. There's no way to do it with iBeat. You can set the TPS and CO values, but not change the map.

Actually, I believe you can only change the map on the '13 models with Keihin FI. Earlier models need PCV to use a different map.

I could be wrong...

I think you're right. I'll have to find that old thread again.
Thanks.
Dave

Has it been determined if iBeat will run in windows compatibility mode 32bit on a 64bit operating system?

Does iBeat software just come in 1 version or? I have a 2012 TE310 so would any iBeat software cable and interface work with my bike?

Does anyone have a iBeat disc they want to sell? I bought a USB serial adapter, driver CD and USB cable from an inmate. I was able to install the adapter but am now in need of iBeat. TIA

Post a pic of what you got. All my software was on a single disk with a Mikuni label on it. I bought it and the cable together as a kit from SEMCO Designs for a little over $300. Pricey but essential in my opinion.

So it is working good now (iBeat software) All of my CO's are set to 100. I have the TXC ECU and 12 hole and a full FMF powerbomb and RCT 4.1 along with the open airbox and Lambda pulled and terminated. Any CO suggestions for me with the current setup? It runs good as is and I had Halls do the ECU install but since then I added the FMF exhaust so I would like to dial it further if possible.
