• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

12-11-11 JOHHNY CAMPBELL CHRISTMAS CLASSIC

Tentative to go do this Johnny Campbell Carlsbad GP pending feeling/logistics after this weekend's Tecate HS.
Word has it that the course is very fun and fully developed with Johnny C hands on all the way.
Good luck with the fuel pump thing.

I wanna go do this race so so so bad. But my 2012 CRF450X blew up (brand bike new) and now i can ride not for 2 months or more maybe. Plus also my kids CRF50 Honda all not working right now i think is from the transmissions of them like i read on the 'other' forums.

Cost 50 dollars for 45 min plus gate fee and camping fee. I think I will wait for the first National cost 45 dollars for 3 hours plus no gate fee or camping fee and I can ride all over for free.Maybe I will change my mind I just live down the road from the Ranch

I wanna do some nationals this year. You gonna go on a Husky like usual? Up for some fellow Husky company out there in the dez? Glad you posted. Im gonna jump over to the AMA site and do some research. Been wanting to do this for several years. HS or HH or both?

Johnson Valley is 8 miles from my back yard. The Sand, whoops and Rocks get old:cool:. I drive a long way to find places that have real dirt:thumbsup: MY boys tell me Anza is a fun track, Dec.... I can imagine it will be cold:eek:.
I like to ride different areas for the adventure. Yes alot of these events cost more money then I like to spend. Keep in mind, All the events, Big6, HH, HS, Dual Sport Rides and many more allow us to meet people, see different towns and ride the different tracks.
JCCC Event. The family team race could be allot of fun! :busted:
