    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

100% duty cycle

Dynojet sells the PCV for about $390 and Motorcycle Superstore sells them for around $300. If someone was to look into a groupbuy...might start with MSS .

How does one get a groupbuy going anyways?

basically we figure out how many of us are going to buy one, lets say 10 or 20, then we shop that around to retailers for the best price.

Interesting! Has anyone tried this and what maps are available? I notice it does not use the auto tune facility so it would need a different map over base if any modification where made to the airbox/exhaust? Any dyno graphs compared to stock?
 
I called them, and it seems the 100% duty cycle only occurs on very large throttle openings, and very large rpms. So I would think it would be quite easy to build a map everywhere else, and manually fill where it does go to 100%.
 
The only map available right now (and is installed in the unit) is for the bone stock TR. The only way they can offer more maps from various mods is if you go to an authorized facility and have your modified bike dyno tuned....and then share that map with them (stating your bike mods in detail). Of you live near a DynoTune corporate facility (Vegas or back east) then they will tune you for free so they can offer the map to everyone else.
 
An update regarding the PC-V from Motorcycle Superstore...

Since no one has any real performance mods available yet...the only map DynoJet has to offer is based from the stock TR. Once performance (like intake and exhaust) options become available...DynoJet will offer more maps to everyone. :banana:

For that to happen they just need a modded bike in their shop to create a map with. The bike that does this gets free dyno time where as if you go and have it done at "Bob's dyno and internet cafe"...it can cost you a bit of $$$$ and none of your fellow TR brothers and sisters have access to those maps. :thumbsdown:
