• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

09 310 pulsating idle/bog

Jon

Husqvarna
AA Class
I have an 09 te 250 with the 310 kit also have a jd tuner. I ve tried alot of different settings but can not get rid of the idle pulsating and low end bog. any ideas?

When did the symptoms start? Did it run good for a time after the 310 kit, did it run good for a time after the install of the JDtuner?

ya it ran fine after the kit was put on (George at uptite did it) Started noticing it a few months ago. I had the tuner on before the kit and used it from day one after the kit was on.

How many miles/hours on the bike? Does the bike have the OEM fuel pump, and have you pulled the pump assembly and looked at the pump strainer.

bike has about2600 miles and about 1100 since the 310 was out on...have not pulled the pump assembly if it was clogged a little you think it would create the low end bog a pulsating idle?

I have not personally had those exact symptoms, others would advise you to reset your TPS, which I have never had to do, so i don't have any experience with TPS related issues. I have a fair bit of experience with bad fuel pumps, they cause alot of different problems.
