    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

I have a 02 cr 250 with pro circut pipe that is in good shape , trying to make up mind what to do thinking about tradeing it in on newer husky or gas gas or brand new . but as a B/C level mx rider an some woods rideing. Is there any gain to a new two stoke? or just mod mine some?
 
there are gains but the 02 cr best husky made .i have redone 7 02 there are mods that greatly enhance the bike alot of little things husky should of done. i have tested and raced these 2 strokes for years.even rode support for cagiva back in the day.the bikes will perform and last forever if setup correctly
 
hp 44.susp mods gearing 13 50 /carb stock or after market where do you live or ride.adj clutch inner to 3/5mm play.motor use .03 base gasket that will bring squish .70.low end power run stock siencer mid to top run fmf. procircut low end shorty.jd ing.bestpipe tested doma hard to get.spes and dep next best.thesemods are simple effective.ihave more specific mods but these mods wil bring the 02 to life.carb is real imporant but need to know what you have and where. thanks sorry for run on getting ready for supercross and riding.anything specific iwill get more detailed.
 
I put complete pro circuit exhaust on it has stock carb thinking about lectron carb like I run on my 165 . I live in sd so most of rideing is more open. I will install diff base gasket. Thanks for help no name I think I spoke with you once on phone when I was thinking of selling this bike
