Standard brembo(ktm) brake lever n get a Ballards pivot assist clutch perch/lever n motion pro cable to suit makes clutch pull way lighter. Or Magura hydro set up better again!

Nutty reckons mid 2000s Honda clutch perch n lever hav best ratio could maybe try them be cheap enough

I had ASV levers on my Husky. I believe the ASV lever for Brembo should fit from other brands like KTM should fit.

Okay I am now casing a pipe for my bike and went a FMF Gnarly /turbinecore 2 but the shop is saying they don't have a fitment model for a 2013 wr300 so what model are you buying for this , as in does the o6 wr 250 still fit etc...

I have an FMF Gnarly that I sent to Pacific Pipe Repair to get the dings taken out and haven't put it on my bike yet... it looks brand new. I've been using a 2cs pipe that is a little better everywhere. If you can find a 2cs go for it over the Gnarly. I'd sell you my Gnarly but I doubt the shipping to OZ would be worth it for you.

I've finally got mine up and running again after the fiasco with millennium tech and the 250 big bore. Its a OEM 300 now and I'm thinking of doing the same gearing. The PO had put a 12 up front and 1st gear is almost not useful.

I'm runing 14/50 and reckon i'ts pretty good for most stuff, sometimes 1st feels a little tall but with a 5 speed there's always a compromise somewhere.Gives you slightly better speed for transport sections.

Wat would a 08 wr250 pipe do to the 10+ 300s? Jus snappier like the 09s(came with 250 pipe I believe) as in bit revvier/more pipey/less torque? Curious is all

 Hmmm.... This is interesting. I have an 09 250 pipe. I wonder what that would do to the 300? I'm currently running a gnarly. Pretty smooth yet torquey.

I'm fairly sure 09 250 n 300 ran same pipe hence y 300 got the rep of a beast as it was very revvy/pipey. 10 got own design pipe that mellowed it out n gave more torque

    I think

My 09 250 with the stock pipe and well tuned carb had a beastly mid-range hit and flattened out on top a bit early. The Gnarly smoothed it out and gave it more top. Then I put a Lectron carb on it and it gave it more everywhere, then I went with a 2CS pipe and had to go 1/2 turn richer on the Lectron to get the best running combo yet... more power and smoother everywhere with a top end that really revs out.
