considering replacing Motoplat ignition on my 1978 WR 390 with Femsa and points.....where is a good place to get coil and all?
A Femsa will cost as much and possible more than a new aftermarket electronic ignition. To use a Femsa you'll need to change the crank stub shaft, expensive part and expensive labor. Then its possible the stator plate won't fit in the case. I've never used the new ignitions but understand they're very good. Search the vintage forum for riders who have tried them.
