This question is for a four stroke, but include info for two stroke if you know it. What part of the carb do you change to correct issues with the jetting, ie popping, 3/4 throttle bog full throttle issues ect. I am looking for a base line so if I notice something I am a little more knowledgeable, Heck I don't even know if I am asking the right question but I am looking for generic info. Thanks
Here's a decent carburetor tutorial. http://justkdx.dirtrider.net/printcarbtuning.html It's written with a Kawasaki KDX in mind, but the concepts apply to most carbs.
Couldn't find the one I was looking for, but here's some additional info to go with that, related to 4 stroke accell pump carbs http://www.4strokes.com/tech/4sjetting.asp
if you want to learn about carbs- in general- go to the thumpertalk jetting section and just start reading. If you have a specific issue with a specific carb and bike some one can guide you if you describe the issues well.
this is the best general reference to the Keihin FCR read it back and forth a few times- your problem could be multiple issues rolled into one. Ap+needle+main or just crud
