Just tested a cast alloy water pump impeller made by Russell Brown. Works fine.

He is currently finalizing the pump housing and the side cover for the LC bikes. Will be a brilliant resource for those of us with corroded covers and missing pump housings and impellers.

Russell can be contacted at crclutchcovers@gmail.com.

He started making clutch covers for the Honda CR’s but is now doing Husky’s and KTM’s. He is a wizard at casting these things and has even made cast tanks!

He has been developing the Husqvarna parts. PEZBerg has been testing the prototypes so I am sure they will be on the website within a few weeks.

500 genuine impellers in stock. 30 Genuine Water pump covers in stock and we are working on a new Clutch Cover version 7 via a new Solidworks 3D model that will allow us to cast them from super accurate CNC'd casting patterns. Down to our last 3of our version 6 Aircooled covers, but the new version should be ready by Christmas. We may go back to CNC machining the logo in as people seemed to like them... We will also be making 5 axis CNC Billet Pump Covers when we run out of Genuine items.

The reason I am writing this is because it is madness when people make parts when they are being made already (without first having a conversation with other manufacturers) - it just means that no one makes any profit. That in turn means there is less money in the pot for developing other new products. Now, don't get me wrong, I have nothing against competition, but we ALWAYS consult the other significant players before undertaking new products, as there are plenty of parts that need making that are not made yet. This is why for instance I visited Twinshock CNC earlier this year - so between us we can formulate a plan as to who should do which parts... This is one of the reasons www.hva-factory.com is so successful!!!

No, as you can lay the bike over and remove even the L/C cover with a bit of jiggleing almost as quickly

Russ has usually made covers for the japanese bikes on a order basis so he is low volume. i think he has had a request for the husky covers as a lot of people were under the wrong impression that they are NLA...i have referred plenty to the hva site in search of covers. they will be like bums now, everyone has one!!
