Warming the 86 240 up.

Changing to Waterless Coolant so I can sleep at night and have to warm her up first to wash the old stuff out. Was having nightmares about waterpump corrosion.
Both bikes have been sitting for a year or so. The 240 took less than 6 kicks to start and the 400 took only two because it has a deco and can be primed.
As you can see the 240 is well used.

The Swedish Husqvarna bikes have their own sound like the Harley's. The 240 sounds awesome.

Being retired and sleeping late sometimes one morning while waking up I heard a familiar fin ring go by my window. I jumped up and caught the back end of a white and blue bike. Looked like a '83. The local kid who works on a farm near me bought the bike out of the barn. He didn't mix the ratio correctly.it was way too rich. He sold the bike to me. Every time I hear a husky engine I think of the bike passing my window.

something to be said for sleeping in

Ahhh, ringing fins and rattling clutch baskets. Almost as good as toast and coffee on a Sunday morning.
