Over the weekend I have tryed to increase the idle and set the mixture on my 1996 TE610 but no luck I tryed what the workshop manual says turn the idle screw clock wise to increase the idle then adjust the mixture screw until it runs smooth but when I turn the idle screw up it does nothing,it comes to a stop when you wind it in,doesn't keep turning. Has anyone had any trouble like this before?
Hi, Try a lower idle when adjusting the mixture screw. If no difference there could be a problem with your carby. Dirt in the carby, float level set too high, worn needle, air leaks. Some reading here, http://www.hondatwins.net/forums/56...dle-mixture-screw-has-no-effect-one-carb.html
