I've had this for a while, getting very close to installing it as I have acquired most the parts I need to do so. 511 season is upon me. I fear it might be to loud and confused why I might need more power but there it is :). In the end I will never give it the thrashing its previous owner did and I'm simply not worthy of this pipe. Can the 511 get even better, stay tuned.

    Tinken made me do it...

I'm tuned in, hoping you find a way to quiet it down. I've got the same setup - too loud for me.

Which is a huge part of why it sat here for so long.

I think I'm going to frankenstien the stock silencer insert onto the quietcore insert I have and see if I can make it a bit quieter.

I can make it quieter with a new insert, just haven't had time to build it yet.

I really like how the pipe fits and the quality so far. It has been massaged (heat and hammer) so not sure whats up but fit my bike like a glove. I had the springs for the header in my save pile from 2 strokes, cool. As a race pipe it seems very nice. EZ to remove when needed, tucks in well, probably makes great power. The mid pipe is 3mm bigger dia. The muffler is 3.5 inches shorter. The mid pipe is longer. I just took it for a quick rip around the block. Does seem spunkier. Getting a lot of popping on decel that was never there. Will JD it out. Started fine, runs good, idles nice, responds well, no feeling of stalling or any signs of bad running so far. Might get to ride her saturday.

I have a guard for you, send it out tomorrow. I don't have an F brand insert here to play with. They do sell 2 different Q inserts. I suggest you get the smallest diameter one and try it. If it is still too loud, send it to me and I will mod it.

The guard I have available is shown below on my 511.

Any tips for pulling the insert out of the pipe? Mine does not want to move and there is not much to grab
