TC 510 auto-decomp?

    So i just got this bike, 2008 TC510 and wanted to check the valves. I see that it has an auto-decomp even though the owners manual says that the TC does not. There are different Part# for the auto-decomp for the TC and the TE. Does anyone know what the deal is?
    The auto-decomp does work. This is why I checked the valves because I could kick through TDC.

    I have the same bike and when I purchased it new I was told by the dealer that the only way to start it was by using the manual decomp lever on the handlebars, that it has no auto decomp. I eventually did what you did, discover the auto decomp when checking the valves because I was having trouble starting the bike. I found the auto decomp to be warn out. We installed a new one and we can kick it over without any issues, but I still have starting problems that we haven't figured out yet.
