Getting back to trying to finish my 86 XC400 build and could use a set of steering head bearings. I see that they are available for a reasonable price in Europe but the us suppliers I am familiar with are either out of stock or twice the price. Any suggestions?

Also, does anyone have experience with the emulator kits (gold valve)? Are they a worthwhile investment?

if you have a Harley-Davidson dealer close to you the neck bearings are the same size. 48300-60 is the HD part #. you would need two.
