hi, i have recently bought a 2001 te410e and im looking for advice about a starting problem i have. when i press the starter button the starter motor engages for around 1 second then stops. i thought it was a flat bettery but after charging the battery it is the same, i have also used jumper cables from a mercedes sprinter van and it did the same until i started the van then the bike started which im assuming is because it was then getting a 14v feed. i feel like the starter motor is seizing. is there any common things which it can be? can the starter motors be greased up ? any pointers at all would be great.
