Hi - I'm trying out the Lectron 36 on my aircooled KDX200 project bike. I'm tuning it with the 3.2XL. Because i switched metering rods, it's taken me a little while to get it into the 'zone'. I've got it now so that it idles and the revs pull cleanly off the bottom. The only thing is that when you blip the throttle the revs don't drop back down to idle for about 30 seconds, then it settles. Is this a standard lean condition? or likely some other issue? Thanks for any input.

sounds like its a bit lean perhaps, as it should only take a few seconds..fyi im also running that same rod in my 360 with a 38mm..
when you say it idles high, is it just barely higher then settles? i have mine tuned to where it part throttle four stroked a very small amount, then leaned a half turn on the rod..
if you do have a lean condition you may have something else causing it..

I am running a MS-3 rod on my KDX hybrid. The MS-3 rod was what I had in my WB165. Check your power valve and make sure they are closing. The round cover on the left side will have the gear that has a tiny ball and spring that gums up

That's a pretty rich rod, so it's adjusted lean or you have an air leak. Both my Lectrons came with the rod @ 49mm, so I'd say that's a good reference/starting point.
