It was a good result for the Husqvarna-CH Racing Team at the Italian GP in Sicily, with three victories achieved, by Juha Salminen and Matti Seistola in the E1 class, and Antoine Meo in the E2 class.
In the third round of this year's series, Husqvarna riders led the E1 class (250cc four-strokes) on both days, with Salminen finishing first and Seistola second, in front of fellow Finn Eero Remes on the Saturday. On the Sunday on his TE250, Matti Seistola celebrated his first victory in a GP with a well-deserved, albeit close victory over fellow countryman Remes, with Salminen finishing third after a safe ride.
These results at Francavilla di Sicily leave Salminen top of the E1 points table after three GPs, with an advantage of 18 points over Remes. Seistola is third, on 109 points.
In the E2 class, Antoine Meo showed that the new Husqvarna TE310 is a winning force to be reckoned with, even over the strong 450cc bikes it competes against in this category. After a first day when he made some mistakes that put victory out of reach by just ten seconds behind Johnny Aubert, it was a different story on the Sunday, where Meo won by a comfortable margin over Ivan Cervantes and Cristobal Guerrero, with Aubert some way behind in fourth.
This victory gives Meo an advantage of 29 points over Cervantes in the overall leaderboard. Special mention should also go to Simone Albergoni, who scored two sixth places on his TE310, which puts him sixth in the standings.
In the E3 class, Seb Guillame has a challenging weekend on the WR300. On the Saturday he was really close to achieving a podium finish, but lost vital seconds due to a mistake in the last Special, and ended up in fifth. On the Sunday his injured shoulder gave him more problems than the first day, and the best that the captain of Husqvarna CH Racing Team could manage was eighth. There was a better showing for Alex Salvini on his TE511 as the Italian rider finished with a sixth and a fifth place at Francavilla di Sicilia, showing his successful transition from motocross to enduro racing.

The 250/310 chassis (CR/WR125 as well), is what's doing it. with a few great riders to use it as well.
