Anybody got a spare set of piston rings for a 2006 SM 610? I've called everybody on the East & West coast with no luck. Seems the parts are on back order, with a big shipment stuck in US customs. I'd gladly pay retail + for a complete set, part # 8000 97973.....Thanks By the way, seems some dealers are scratching their heads about BMW's take over & the inability to order/receive parts. Pistons, rings & gaskets should be readily available don't you think.
I would call Halls if you haven't, they are one of the better parts stocking dealers when it comes to those types of things. Sorry, I do not have any.
Thanks for the replies guys....I've called every dealer that Husky has in the US but no luck. I've just about got her back together now. I didn't HAVE to have the rings, just thought it would be good if I replaced the rings while I had it open. Uptite & Hall's were my first 2 calls.
