Hey guys, I have a small problem,
Last year my rear wheel bearings packed up due to my lack of maintenance!
Problem, they no longer resemble bearings.
I am wondering if someone would be able to tell me what i need to measure in order to get replacements? or does anyone have a chart I can reference the bike off for the sizes?
There was a ser clip in the mix and it looked like there may have been 2bearings side by side each side of the wheel.
    Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Mate. Yep the sprocket side has 2 bearings side by side and the brake side only one.
Dont worry about measuring them-just take them to a bearing shop and get them to replace like for like.
get good German or Jap bearings. Really pack some marine or waterproof grease into them.
I put them into a clip lock plastic bag and into the freezer for an hour. I also use my lovely brides hair dryer and warm up the hub-the bearings tap in very easily.
Remember to only tap the outer race.

Remove the single bearing first, using a long piece of small pipe, something smaller than the axle. After the single bearing is out, then you can use a long socket extension and a large socket to drive out the double bearings.

The outside ring of the bearing should have it's number inscribed on it, failing that Halls normally have parts books to down load.

Sounds like you are lucky you have a hub left ... The PDF parts file on that bike should have the bearing sizes ... I got a 08 250 so I'm not sure my bearings fit your 450 ..

Back to the remains .. All the supplier needs is the outer piece(race) and that fat inner piece to get the bearing size ...
